What Worktops?

I get calls from all over the UK asking if we install worktops and while Selffit deliver all over southern England weekly I only recommend a few I have locally here in Suffolk.  While Selffit worktops and others do have a cutting service for laminate worktops you may need a local fitter if your supplier can’t deliver cut and finished.  Solid acrylic and wooden worktops along with many other bespoke surfaces need fitting on site and a fitter trained in solid surface for any acrylic installations.  Doing a search for “solid surface kitchen fitter” may help but most suppliers of solid surface have fitting courses for solid surface acrylic kitchen fitters on their database and are willing to recommend them if you email the manufacture, retailer or distributor.  Solid wood only needs a carpenter or joiner and granite, slates and marbles do need some special tools and education also.

The best advice is to regionalise your search – if you’re in Cambridge put “worktop fitter Cambridge” and you should find fitters online with the Cambridge area.  If you’re nearest big town doesn’t work try the county you are in instead and see if you get a hit.
